As a result team such as the Cavaliers (Collin Sexton, Tristan Thompson) and Hornets (Jeremy Lamb, Cody Zeller) deserve a deeper look when searching for players that can produce solid fantasy numbers for the week. Point Guards

Collin Sexton Cavaliers 52% – Sexton appears on this list for the second consecutive week, and he’s owned in just over half of Yahoo’s fantasy leagues. Over his last four games the rookie’s averaging 20.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, and while the rebound and assist numbers aren’t all that impressive he’s had no shortage of opportunities to shine with George Hill out of the lineup. Sexton’s attempting 16.5 shots per game (and shooting 53%) during this current stretch, and given Cleveland’s lack of firepower that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.

Fred VanVleet Raptors 45% – After scoring just four points in Toronto’s November 20 win over Orlando, VanVleet followed that up with 11 and 13-point outings in wins over Atlanta and Washington. Just as notable for the third-year point guard is the fact that he averaged 6.0 assists per game last week, more than a full assist higher than his average for the season (4.6).
