Stuff is hosting the winners of ‘The Outlook for Someday’ short film competition – and giving you the chance to vote for your favourite.

The film challenge, which has been running annually since 2007, asks young people aged up to 24 to make short sustainability-related films of any genre, filmed with any camera and any length up to five minutes.

The 20 winning films have been made by individuals and teams aged 5 to 24 years old from all over the country.

Voting closes at midnight on Monday December 3.

The Stuff Audience Choice award winner will be announced at a red-carpet ceremony sponsored by The Body Shop being held at St. Matthew-in-the-City in Auckland on December 6.

The film-maker or team behind the vote-winning film will receive a prize package that includes a Zhiyun Crane 2 Gimbal donated by Photogear.

The Standout Winner will also be announced at the awards, winning a prize package that includes a mentorship with a New Zealand film producer in association with the Screen Production and Development Association of New Zealand (SPADA).

The ceremony will be livestreamed on Stuff.

A judging team of 9 people from media, education, government and business picked the 20 winners from 133 entries, involving 410 young people.
