Poker run held in support of Clermont boy's cancer battle – Daily Commercial

MINNEOLA — The South Lake Moose Lodge was a busy spot Saturday, as the Moose Riders held a poker run and dinner with live music to help support young Nathan “Nate the Great” Jackson in his fight against cancer. 11-year- old Jackson had a kidney transplant last year and is now battling a rare post-transplant lymphoma. The riders — dozens of motorcycles, plus several jeeps — kicked off at 10:30 a.m., traveling to Eustis and Sorrento with various stops along the way. Dinner and music started mid-afternoon, with local favorite Rob Nichols as the featured entertainer. The Moose Lodge planned on about 300 diners.
