NC ALE: Past alcohol-related issues on Charter Party Charters – FOX 46 Charlotte

– There have been alcohol-related problems in the past, according to a state investigator, on party buses from the same Charlotte company that owned the bus a UNC-Charlotte student fell out of and died earlier this week.

A report from CMPD into the investigation of the death of 20-year old Polly Rogers states, “Alcohol use is an unknown factor at this time for the victim, however alcohol was being consumed on the bus by multiple occupants.”

The UNCC student was on a party bus that left an off-campus location traveling to Uptown Charlotte Tuesday night when investigators say the emergency window opened and Rogers fell out and may have been hit by two vehicles.
