NBA Mock Draft 2017: Sixers get Markelle Fultz at No. 1 after blockbuster trade –

And now it’s official. On Monday, Boston announced it has dealt the No. 1 pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft to Philadelphia for its No. 3 selection and a future first-round pick.

Welcome to the 76ers, Markelle Fultz.

Fultz to the Sixers is the culmination of what Sam Hinkie started four years ago in tearing the Sixers down in order to build them up. Too bad he didn’t get to hang around to see it. It remains to be seen how Fultz and Ben Simmons, both players who flourish with the ball in their hands, will mesh together on the basketball court. But
