Man arrested after shotgun, drugs, ammunition found in Pomona home – Inland Valley Daily Bulletin

A 37-year-old felon was arrested after a shotgun, drugs and ammunition were found inside a Pomona home on Friday morning, Sept. 15, police say.

At 6 a.m. Friday, Pomona police officers with the Major Crimes Task Force, Pomona’s SWAT team and California Highway Patrol officers served a search warrant in the 1400 block of Ashport Street and found a .20-gauge shotgun, a half-ounce of methamphetamine and ammunition, according to a Pomona police news release.

Javier Frausto was inside the home and was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, as well as on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance with a firearm nearby, the release said.

He was booked into the Pomona Jail and bail is set at $50,000, booking logs show.
