BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — 

Kern County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Tuesday after they found several guns and ammunition inside the man’s home.

Deputies served a search warrant for the home of 51-year-old Lionel Gonzalez and found one shotgun, two assault rifles, two high capacity magazines, several rounds of ammunition, and body armor.

Gonzalez was taken into custody for possessing a firearm as a felon, possessing body armor as a violent felon, illegally possessing assault rifles, possessing high capacity magazines, and possessing ammunition as a felon.
