Juveniles steal guns from cars in Bryant, charged multiple counts of theft – KATV

The police report says all four juveniles were charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering, theft of property and theft by receiving. Two of the juveniles were charged with possession of stolen guns. (MNG)

Bryant Police Department received information about the recent breaking and entering car thefts on Thursday. After investigating, authorities say that four juveniles, ages ranging from 14-years-old to 17-years old, were involved in the thefts, with two of the juveniles later arrested at a Bryant bus stop for possessing stolen guns.

The breaking and entering report states that the juveniles and their parents were questioned about the thefts at the Bryant Police Department.

After questioning, two of the juveniles were taken to lockup in Pine Bluff and the other two were released to their parents.

Because of the juveniles ages, their names cannot be released.

The police report says all juveniles were charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering, theft of property and theft by receiving.

The breaking and entering report also mentions that two of the juveniles were charged with possession of stolen guns and that the guns were stolen from unlocked cars.

Police remind people to not leave guns or valuables in the vehicle and to keep them locked.
