Di Maria throws first pitch at MLB game between Marlins and Phillies – ESPN FC (blog)

With Paris Saint-Germain in Miami on preseason duties, Angel Di Maria was invited along as guest of honour at the MLB game between the Marlins and the Phillies on Monday night.

Indeed, the Argentinian winger was charged with throwing the first ceremonial pitch of the evening at Marlins Park and duly did so — but not before playing keepy-uppies with the baseball.

Not only is he left-footed, Di Maria’s a south paw too.

After sampling the local sporting fare, PSG are now due to leave their training base at Barry University and hit the road, playing Roma in Detroit on July 19, then Tottenham in Orlando on July 22 before returning to Miami to square off against Juventus on July 26.
