Caribbean Poker Party underway

Friday marked the beginning of the 2018 Caribbean Poker Party, a festival from November 9th to November 18th. The schedule includes eight primary events including a $5300 buy-in $10 million guaranteed Main Event that begins on Saturday. Also on the schedule is a $50,000 Super High Roller on November 12th and a $250,000 Super High Roller Championships that runs from November 13th to November 15th.

On Friday was Day 1a of the $25,500 Millions World, which will consist of two Day 1s with late registration through Day 2. Isaac Haxton, Steffen Sontheimer, Justin Bonomo and Brian Hastings are just a few of the players who have entered thus far.

– Rumors have swirled this week that two gaming heavyweights could be exploring a merger. On Monday, the New York Post reported that MGM had undergone exploratory measures on a merger with Caesars Entertainment. If MGM and Caesars were to merge, it could great one of the largest gambling companies in the world. MGM and Caesars were the 2nd and 4th largest casinos companies in the United States last year.
