3 arrested in Holyoke, Mass. on firearm charges – NECN

Three men were arrested Thursday on firearm charges in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Police seized two handguns and arrested 22-year-old Joshua Cotto and two brothers, 22-year-old Jonathan Figueroa and 23-year-old Ulises Figueroa. They are all charged with carrying a firearm without a license, possessing a firearm with a mutilated ID during a felony, possessing a large capacity weapon and having ammunition without an FID card.

Detectives responded after Holyoke Police, Western Massachusetts Gang Task Force and members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms received information about a man holding a handgun on Dwight Street. In addition to the weapons, $1,120 in counterfeit bills was found.

The three suspects were arraigned at Holyoke District Court Friday.
