We’ll get to see Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning, part XVI. (USATSI)

Each week, we’ll take the best — and most clever — odds collected by Bovada for the upcoming week and give our take. This is important stuff, perhaps the most important post you’ll read all week. Because if you can’t lose money while watching a game in which you have absolutely no impact, what’s the point of watching sports at all?

Note: Home team is listed first in Against the Spread, and all statistics only include the regular season.

Game One: Patriots +3.5 vs. Broncos
Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS

Pass defense: 2nd Pass offense: 3rd
Rush defense: 25th Rush offense: 21st

Verdict: I’m a sucker for a Peyton Manning-led offense, so when we pick every game every week, I’ll usually take the Broncos to cover — mostly because we know the kind of production Denver’s offense can provide. This week is no different. Though the Patriots have turned around their season and they’ll be playing at home and Tom Brady is 10-5 all-time vs. Manning, I can’t get myself to pick the Patriots here. Hell, they probably will win, but in this case — like usual — I’m going with Manning to cover.

Game Two: Cowboys -4.5 vs. Cardinals
