MLB DFS for April 16: Best DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball picks – CBSSports.com

Before you enter a DFS tournament for MLB action Monday, April 16, you need to hear what professional DFS player Mike McClure has to say. McClure has more than $1 million in career winnings and has a proven DFS track record in multiple sports.

And when it comes to MLB, McClure is at his best. Recognized in the book Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn Your Hobby into a Fortune as a top MLB DFS player, McClure has already cashed in multiple tournaments this season thanks to some spot-on picks.

On Sunday, McClure was all over Rays outfielder Denard Span at just $2,500 on FanDuel. The result: Span exploded for two hits, including a home run and a pair of RBI — returning a season-high 28.2 points on FanDuel. Anyone who rostered him was well on their way to a profitable day.

For Monday’s MLB slate, McClure is all over Blue Jays outfielder Steve Pearce at $2,700 on FanDuel and $3,100 on DraftKings.

Pearce has hit safely in four of his past six games and in his past outing on Friday, he scored two runs and had two RBI at Cleveland.

McClure is recommending a stack of Pearce and teammate and fellow outfielder Randal Grichuk, who is $2,100 on FanDuel and $3,500 on DraftKings.

Grichuk’s price has hit rock bottom after a slow start to the season, but he has a favorable chance to break out Monday against Royals starter Eric Skoglund, who has an astronomical 9.64 ERA and 1.71 WHIP.
