Guns, ammunition stolen from Exeter home – WMUR Manchester

Police in Exeter are looking for burglars who stole guns and ammunition from a home.

On Nov. 8, police responded to 29 Gary Lane for the report of a burglary. The burglar got inside by breaking a basement window. Among other items, numerous firearms and ammunition were reported stolen.


A tip received by Exeter police allowed for the execution of two search warrants. Exeter, Stratham and state police executed the searches at 95 Portsmouth Ave. and 19 Pleasant Run in Stratham. As a result, the stolen firearms and ammunition were recovered.

Exeter and Stratham police continue to investigate the case. Anyone who may have information about the case should call Exeter police at 603-772-1212 or Stratham police at 603-778-9691. Anonymous tips can be submitted by by texting TIPSCS and information to 274637, or calling 603-431-1199. A possible reward up to $1,000 cash is available for information leading to an arrest or conviction.
