Adrian Peterson Charged With ‘Reckless Or Negligent Injury To A Child’ – StockPricesNow

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has reportedly been charged with reckless or negligent injury to a child. Peterson appears to be  cooperating and has turned himself into custody. The charge stems from an incident in which Peterson disciplined his son with a branch. This investigation has been ongoing as Adrian Peterson testified before a grand jury a few weeks back.

This comes on the heals of the ex-Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice lost his job indefinitely due to the video coming out of him knocking out his fiance Janay Palmer in an elevator. Then dragging her unconscious body out into the hall. Several allegations are being made by anonymous sources that allege a cover up by Roger Goodell, commissioner of the National Football League(NFL).  The pressure on the NFL regarding off field violence may have an exaggerated effect on the decisions towards Minnesota star running back, Adrian Peterson. AP has a clean record with regards to off-field incidents. There is the rights of parents to discipline their children how they see fit within reason. Spare the whip….

With regards to the thousands of fantasy football owners that drafted Adrian Peterson first round at their anchor, he has been officially deactivated for week 2.
