The final table is set in the 2017 Card Player Poker Tour Seneca Fall Poker Classic $1,000 no-limit hold’em main event. A total of 271 entries were made in this event, building a prize pool of $239,212 to easily surpass the $200,000 guarantee. Now only nine players remain with a shot to capture the title and the first-place prize of $58,608. The eventual champion will also grace an upcoming cover of Card Player magazine!

Only 57 players survived the two starting flights to make day 2, and from that group only 27 players made the money, with a min-cash being worth $1,818. The nine players remaining are all now guaranteed at least a $5,382 payday.

The chip leader heading into the final table is Ernie Guardarramas with 1,855,000. There are just under 8 million chips in play, with the average stack being 903,333.
Hassan Jamil (1,297,000), Jason Sagle (1,290,000), Lou Procopio (1,110,000) and Mark Roberts (1,048,000) also bagged up seven-figure stacks.

The two largest stacks coming into day 2 were Paul McClean and Leo Kaplin. Both players made the money, but neither was able to survive to the final table. Kaplin finished 16th for a $2,990 payday while McClean placed 11th for $4,545.

The final nine will return at noon local time on Monday, November 13 and play will continue until the next CPPT champion is decided.
